Speaking of the early stages of his life, Michael Schindler whose stage name is Shindy happened to be born to a Greek mother and German father. During his early stage of life, he enjoyed working at his grandparent’s restaurant who were Greek just like his mother. At the age of 14, Shindy started unveiling his hidden talent which obviously is rapping and exposing that part of him. At the age of 16, he got the attention of Jaysus, a Greek-German rapper who invited him so they could work together musically.

He started his career working under KAY ONE’S record label in 2012, where he had his debut as a rapper featuring on some tracks in Kay One’s album titled Prince of Belvedair. He then had his major debut when he featured on Kay One’s chant in support of the German national football team titled Finale wir kommen. After this, they had one more single together, and then they had a misunderstanding which then caused them to part ways.
Just a year after things went with Kay one record label, in 2012, on the 21st of June 2013, he released a single titled Immer Immer Mehr alongside Bushido and Sido. He then released his debut album MWA on the 12 of July 2013. This album went as far as striking through the German and Austrian charts reaching the Top 3 in Switzerland. Serving as a major breakthrough for him.
As a result of his misunderstanding with his previous record label, he went off social media for a period of two years. After this, he came back with a new lead single titled DODI from his album titled Drama which was released that same year. Just a short while after he released the songs RoadToGoat and Affalterbach. He gained much more recognition in the music industry with the release of his hit single Nautilus on the 11th of May 2019. And hit the top 2 on the German charts for a duration of 7 days.
