She attended California State University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Political Science.
After graduating from California State University, she initially enrolled in Law School, however, she ended up applying for the Miss Orange County Competition. Shally left Law school after winning a Journalism award from KTTV Fox11 producers and this helped her to get an internship in KTTV studios and this is where her career in Journalism started.
