She eventually joined the team of Polish singer-songwriter, Edyta Górniak, who represented Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994. When Roxie’s voice was first heard by Górniak, she described her as “unreal” and she also stated that she did not believe that Beyoncé had such a strong voice at that age. On February 24, 2018, Roxie was declared the winner in the final, during which she performed Górniak’s 1994 Eurovision entry “To nice ja!”, and an original song “Zyj”. After she won the competition, she was signed to Universal Music Polska, and her second single “Obiecuje” was released.
