Mullings began his acting career as a performer while attending the University of Central Florida in 2014. In between classes, he would attend acting workshops, coaching lessons, and training. After obtaining his Graduate Degree in 2017, he relocated to Atlanta, GA to pursue his acting career fully.

As an African American filmmaker, Mullings’s goal is to use his films to showcase underrepresented stories. As a graduate student at Full Sail University, he received the Course Director Award in both Directing Talent and Script Production and Analysis. He co-wrote Wake Up, which was one of five films selected from 140 entries to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival in 2016. Mullings identifies his experience in front of the camera as a unique advantage behind the scenes. Some of his recent credits include BET’s American Soul (2019), OWN’s David Makes Man (2019), and NCIS: New Orleans (2018).
