While he was still a student, he got his first film role in the movie A Cure for Wellness by Gore Verbinski. In 2017, he was awarded the Max Ophüls Prize for Best Young Actor and this was for his role in the short film Jenny. He celebrated its world premiere with the movie The Most Beautiful Couple by Sven Taddicken at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2018.
