He was born on the 24th of December 2002, by Nadia Henery Primo and Michael Primo father and mother respectively, He was born in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
Primo attended the Huntington Prep School basketball team in Huntington,West Virginia,where he played with JT Thor on the same team.
During Joshua’s early life,he lost his mother to a serious illness.
Primo got enrolled into royal crown Academic School where he was reclassified and graduated early from the 2020 class.He committed to play college basketball for Alabama, preferring the Crimson Tideover Creighton.
Joshua was ranked a five-star recruit by 24/7 sports.He finished his secondary school education at Royal crown Academy School in Scarborough,Ontario,before attending Alabama college,where he played basketball and was nominated for championships.

During Primo’s rookie season he was the most youthful player in college basketball.After averaging 8.1 points and 3.4 rebounds per game he was named to the south-eastern Conference (SEC).He missed 3 games due a strain in his left medial collateral ligament.
He decided to join the Alabama Crimson Tide men’s basketball and in the SEC after graduating high school.He scored 22 points in a win over Auburn on the 9th of January 2021. He also had 2 blocks and a steal against Kentucky on the 26th of January in 2021.
Joshua increased Alabama’s road win over LSU on January 19th by adding another 25 efficiencies to his team.He is now a shooting guard for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
