Henry was born in Betong, Sarawak, Malaysia on the 5th of February 1987. to English father Clive Golding and Malaysian mother Margaret Likan Golding. He moved with his parents to England when he was about 8 years old in 1994. He then attended Warwick High School in Redhill, England. He then started his job as a hairdresser in London. In 2008, He moved to Kuala Lampur to start his career as a TV host for popular channels like the BBC, Discovery channel, etc.
